The Research That We Do

The Liquid Narrative research group — housed at both the University of Utah and North Carolina State University — works in the area of procedural content generation — the automatic creation of content for interactive games and other virtual environments. Our work developeds models of narrative used to build stories and tell them automatically. The research sheds light on the nature of narrative intelligence and creatives virtual wortlds where narrative interaction is created by intelligent systems.
